The only problem with this is that the permissions will be reset when you reboot. Also add the permissions to /etc/permissions.local so they are also set at boot time. Actually, this will only set them when SuSEconfig runs. For making sure from a boot, check /etc/udev/rules.d/50-udev.rules.
