Can't find what launched 'startpar', but it consumed 99% percent of the cpu and launched hald-addon-stor which was also was at the top of the cpu list. I killed the process, but I am wondering what launched it in the first place. Any ideas on where to look? I didn't find anything in the cron jobs.
'startpar' is used to start service scripts in '/etc/init.d/'. The problem here is determining what it was trying to start. - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
