Hi, I have a problem on both SuSE 5.3 and 6.0 where I lose all sound in the system (bell and modem dialing sound) and the kbdrate settings after my laptop is awaken from a suspend due to a closed lid. APM is compiled into the kernel. I have a couple of questions: 1. I can rerun kbdrate to restore the kbdrate setting, but what can I do to restore the sound? 2. Is there a way to fix it permanently without having to run something after a suspend?
