I'm running 11.4 tumbleweed and I just started a virtualbox VM with no issue.
Unfortunately I can't test vanilla 11.4 with VirtualBox because I don't have it installed anywhere.
I getting a new kernel and VirtualBox packages from Tumbleweed an option?
Greg
Actually, although my VM started, it's not interacting with my mouse/keyboard. I've not had that issue before. I'll need to do some troubleshooting later. No time right now.
I added the tumbleweed repo and updated kernel... et al
still have the same problem :^(
tks,
I installed vbox this morning from yast, but after it and the dependencies were installed, it wouldn't load the operating system I was trying to run as a virtual machine. It wasn't interactive with the commands I was trying to give via the graphic display. So I uninstalled the opensuse vbox rpm's, then downloaded the virtualbox opensuse source rpm from the www.virtualbox.com and installed it. It worked great after that, no problems. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
