I have 2 questions. One ==== I trying to stay with configuring only through YAST. But it doesn't always seems to be convenient. For example, I wanted to change the configurations in the dynamic linker configuration file (ld.so.conf). I could not do it through YAST, so I did it manually. Nexttime when I run SuSEConfig or YAST, I get messages like "/etc/ld.so.conf has been modified. Leaving it untouched." Should I be concerned about such messages from YAST? Two ==== I started the Firewall using YAST. I want to limit telnet and ftp, from internal hosts ONLY. It looks like my systems are visible from the Internet. I want my systems to access Internet hosts, but I don't want to give access to my machines. Can this be done through YAST? If I make modifications to /etc/inetd.conf manually, will it disturb the integrity of the YAST configuration DB? Thank you.
