xsnow is alot more complicated than a animated gif. ;-) it will pile snow up on top of open windows and stuff. I don't know about any interaction with xlock however. Rick Thompson

I seem to remember a way to use Xlock as an animated background in Afterstep, but I can't remember how to do it. Can anyone tell me? --
Not sure, but if you right click on the desktop, you can get to screen/background/moving/erde or whatever else you installed.
Then you could examine the .fvwmrc file for "erde", and see what kind of file it is. It's probably a sequence of ppms, or ideally an animated gif. Then make a file similar to it, and try to add it to the menu just like "erde".
Sorry, that is the best guess I could make. :-) - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
