Hi all and I feel to bother but this direction -> ftp://ftp4.gwdg.de/linux/misc/suser-tux/suse100/ wrong path. Should read: ftp://ftp4.gwdg.de/pub//linux/misc/suser-tux/suse100/ does not allow me to obtain e17 by means of <<yast>>. Anybody knows some other? But the reason is "higher level": Tux still does not run createrepo against his repository. So still you have to download his files and do a "rpm -Uhv" by hand. I am sure this will get better soon. Marcus, please tell us "very soon." ;-))
Marcus has joined Packman so... it will be available within YaST soon ;) http://packman.links2linux.org/?action=638
Christoph claims to have released the createrepo thingy under /pub/suse/../people/cthiel/ for each relevant distro, but I'm not sure which RPM is right.
They're available with apt: http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/apt/SuSE/9.3-i386/RPMS.suse-people/ http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/apt/SuSE/9.2-i386/RPMS.suse-people/ ... But not with yast2.. ? At least not with yast2 on 9.3, 9.2, ... as yast2 on 10.0 is the first version able to use the "createrepo" (yum) metdata. - -- -o) Pascal Bleser http://linux01.gwdg.de/~pbleser/ /\\ <pascal.bleser@skynet.be> <guru@unixtech.be> _\_v The more things change, the more they stay insane. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFDLl2zr3NMWliFcXcRAorRAJ93/d/ceovcjh4/Oj9kPFSHrxdePQCeLk1I WnENBODvd3Y1Xr8MCHX5SZc= =r4x4 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
