Yes I'm running it without any problems. As root (e.g. in konsole run "sux" the "<root pswrd>" - "mount /cdrom or mount /cdrecorder or mount /whatever device" . the run "sh ut-install-436.sh" or if you have the Game of the Year edition cd run "sh ut-install-436-GOTY.sh" and it should work. I have tried these, still to no avail.

ls -l `which sh` displays: /bin/sh -> bash

/bin/bash filename.run gives the same errors as before, as does sh filename.run -keep. There is no bash2 on this system. I also tried prepending ./ to the front of the filename just to be sure that it was getting it from the current directory. A long shot that didn't help, but it seemed worth the extra couple of seconds to just try it.

Could you check on your system what ls -l `which sh` outputs?

You may need to usr /bin/bash filename.run

or

/bin/bash2 filename.run

If either of those do not work you can also try:

sh filename.run -keep

which will leave the directory from the patch behind. You can then manually enter the directory and execute the appropriate script (upgrade.sh or setup.sh).

Please let us know which of these solutions works for you incase other users have a similar problem.
