Completely agree. Their should be an option to choose this manually in the setup wizard and in YaST just like we do with time zone, partitioning, setting up network connections etc etc Does anyone have an idea how I can achieve this manually without having to re-install and configure everything again? Is there any way of correcting this on my main install without having to re-install the OS from scratch?
I have been claiming for years that YaST should have a setting to tell if the install is a laptop, desktop, or server. And possibly configure the choices in more details. But nobody seems to want to.
So they do it automatically, and funk it.
