Apmsleep on my SuSE 7.2 only lasts for a minute or two before the desktop switches back on. I've increased the time for AC functions in the apmd.rc.config file, and my BIOS supports APM. Some process must be responsible, but I'd appreciate some help in how to figure out what it is and how to stop it from happening. The laptop part of the power section of KDE control center doesn't do anything. Thanks, Neil Abrahams
