If you really need the 5.6 kernel, you can try the testbuild.
Confirmed,
Running Linux 5.6.2 on the Testbuilds (build 136804) Built testcase 5.2.39 along with virtualbox-ext-oracle-5 (same build) for Arch. Both Linux and Windows guests are running fine on Linux 5.6.2 host.

Thanks for checking this out. I was able to get the virtual machine to start finally when I used an older kernel. I tried to make two virtual machines, ReactOS and WinXP in order to get access to a service manual on CD that will only play in WinXP, and not in later Win versions. ReactOS will install as a virtual machine but won't play the CD, and WinXP won't install as a virtual machine. WinXP won't install on that computer by itself for the same reason, it seems the motherboard doesn't have the architecture to deal with WinXP's ACPI requirements so it won't install in either case. I've realized that I will have to keep a seperate, older computer going for WinXP for as long as I need access to the service manual. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
