Hi everybody. Knoppix community has a HOWTO about remastering Knoppix and how to install it on a USB key since a long time ago.
I have a 20 GB laptop hard disk with an USB adapter (I can plug it through any USB port instead of an IDE connector), and I wonder how could I install openSUSE-Live-CD-kde on it, and how to build a remastered version in order to have LAMP software installed on it by default (which might be better than having a poor LAMPPIX distro without dhcp support and running under XFCE).
Any suggestions?
Have a look at this http://en.opensuse.org/KIWI and install yast2-product-creator, update it with online update, and run yast2 kiwi. KIWI has pretty good documentation in /usr/share/doc/packages/kiwi/kiwi.pdf Have fun! -J -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
