BTW how many video for linux devices are you running? If more than one it could be possible that the tvcard has changed from /dev/video0 to /dev/video1 or some such. If that's the case then you need to make a change in your udev rules files, that way the system will boot and that card will have the same /dev/video? each boot.
Much easier: tvtime-configure -d /dev/video1 or whatever.
