Hi Alfredo, Yes, I've checked the .xinitrc file and it contains no entry (blank)... so i search for .xinitrc.template and then i copy it to overwrite the blank .xinitrc and I restarted my system and and try to login again. And it succeed ! Thanks Alfredo... I still wonder what Linux desktop system works.... so I'll keep trying on other solutions from Gerhard, James, and Boricua. There should also be a file .xinitrc.template which you can copy to .xinitrc (notice the dot before xinitrc). It should be executable. Exit the text terminal, and try to login to KDE again. HTH.
