Dear SuSE users: The following information regards to SUSE 9.3 with KDE 3.4.0 and these samba packages: yast2-samba-client-2.11.5-3 yast2-samba-server-2.11.14-3 kdebase3-samba-3.4.0-28 samba-3.0.13-1.1 samba-client-3.0.13-1.1 I have configured samba server via YaST2 and set up shared folders. In the Samba configuration panel I checked the "open port in firewall" option. Still when I want to open my shared folders through the Network Brosing icon -> SMB Shares I get nothing, ie an empty window which says: no item - no files - no folders. If I turn off firewall in YaST2 Firewall Configuration panel I can browse my shared folders. So what should I do? I want firewall to be on but still need samba. What can be the proble with the samba setup? Thanks, IG ____________________________________________________________________________ Ingyenes hirdetés feladás az [origo] aprón!
