[SLE] Tape Backup Drive

I am looking into getting a SCSI tape backup drive. Checking the SuSE hardware data base, it lists only the HP Colorado Tape Drive as being fully supported. Is any one using another brand of tape drive that works? I am looking for one that can be installed and not have to do any hacking to get it working. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
