I want to run Suse from a CD on a laptop. I'm confused about how to do this. Do I download all of the CDs or the Live DVD? Or will I have to dual boot the laptop?
Have the disc sets for Suse 7.0 which I purchased and ran several years ago, but they are I'm sure only of historical interest now.

The live DVD is all you should need need. You will need to download it, and burn the ISO image to disc using an appropriate burning program for your OS, and boot from the newly burned disc. You shouldn't have to install anything to your hard drive. Good Luck. I would seriously recommend using the Suse 7.0 CD's for coasters at this point. -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
