Anything I can do ? I tried making an xorg.conf, but then I don't have a graphical screen at all.
Try harder. :-) I got my rv380 X600 Radeon to work using these: http://fm.no-ip.com/Tmp/Linux/Xorg/xorg.conf-radeon-vga1600x1200left-dvi1920... http://fm.no-ip.com/Tmp/Linux/Xorg/xorg.conf-radeon-vga1600x1200under-dvi160... http://fm.no-ip.com/Tmp/Linux/Xorg/xorg.conf-radeon-vga1600x1200under-dvi192... Hopefully they can serve as a guide to getting your RV710/M92 to work using a config file. Be sure you have no conflicting uncommented lines in X11/xorg.conf.d/50-*.conf if using X11/xorg.conf. If using KDE, you might need to disable KScreen. I do via kdedrc via this entry: [Module-kscreen] autoload=false If using KDE, you might do well to try using KScreen (via systemsettings display configuration) instead of xorg.conf or xrandr. FWIW, your Xorg.0.log attached as only a useless 2 bytes. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." Proverbs 16:21 (New Living Translation) Team OS/2 ** Reg.
