I understand how to do that. I was hoping I could find a setting (similar to the one in....what's that thing called...oh yea..Windows) that would allow me to have the file servicing start during idle times of the computer, even during rest. I really don't want to give up power management. I'm sure it's something that a driver could be created for. I'm equally sure that's out of my league. :) Thanks, zens. I made a time change there (2:53 am) and now it waits until I have started using the machine, usually about 5 am. This is apparently due to having APM in place, thus it can't do any maintenance while the machine is in sleep mode.
Is there a workaround for this?
