adabas IS included, read on: You receive a CD, a CD and only a CD. A CD. Is it clear? Instructions are printed on the CD label: put cd in, run Patch CD module (from Yast2 modules|Software). Then something very similar with YOU will appear, select so_base, and so_en packages, and that's it! after that, I looked on my disk and adabas (Personal Edition, single user, 3 concurent connections) was installed on the hardisk in /opt/adabas in addition to /opt/StarOffice So you don't do anything special to install it as it's included in so* packages. Suse PRO-OFFICE == 1 CD only (no book, no support, nothing else, just the CD) Funny, I don't feel bad for buying it, cause now I upgraded my Windows OpenOffice with (fonts, templates, samples, galery) from my SuSE StarOffice, so now it's like I also have StarOffice for Linux AND Windows :) Of course, the package for Sun contains: books, all 3 versions (Solaris, Linux, Windows), support, that's why it's more expensive. You have the choice: buy from SuSE, buy from Sun. You pay less, you receive less. Still, it would have been nice for SuSE to inform us what we buy, to avoid disappointment (have a lot of fun, eh?). Support your Linux distribution! Cheers, Dan. ===== To guarantee the free access of citizens to public information, it is indispensable that the encoding of data is not tied to a single provider.
