Sigh, more problems.
Logged into paddington this morning (the one that is locked-out of the gateway right now?), *every* command that I run, I just get Segmentation Fault
paddington:~ # mail Segmentation fault ... Not just wanting to hit the reset button (although seems I'm left with little choice on the above), *what* is going on?! SuSE was installed on this machine just 2 nights ago. Some info if it'll help:
P133 Processor Seagate 6.4gb HD IDE (hda) Fujitsu 1.2gb HD IDE (hdb) 128mb RAM (4x32 EDO) S3 Virge 1mb graphics card 10Base-T Intel EtherExpress 16 card SuSE 2.0.36 stable kernel (not the hacker release) Standard (E)IDE System Install
Has anyone experienced this before, or knows what is going on? Can this be recovered from? Until I hear back I'll leave it as is, just in case.
Thanks in advance,
I had similar problems until I realized I had my RAM damaged, I changed the memory and now all is ok... Did you check the HD for errors before install?
