[SLE] Swap on separate HD?

Hello Linux folks, I got two identical IDE hard drives for my new Linux box. Is that right that in this case better to allocate swap partition on separate hard drive than on the same hard drive with / partition? Any comments, suggestions? Thanks in advance.
