Hello all, I successfully loaded X-Windows with my Diamond Stealth II S220 card running only 8 bits. When I tried 16 bits, the screen flickers when I move an xterm window. Is there a way to reset the Refresh Rate in Linux? Also, what does one do to configure your X-Windows desktop? Where can you download different backgrounds, screen-savers, etc....? How can you save your current Desktop configuration? For instance, when I switch to Afterstep, I can't save my desktop like in fvwm2 Window Manager? How do I select Afterstep as my default WM? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Paul P.S. Anybody know anything about Network Address Transalation (NAT), meaning routing Internet traffic from one ethernet card to a home network? --------------------------------------------------------------- Pavel (Paul) Brun Carleton University, Canada Email: pbrun@sympatico.ca Internet Pager: <A HREF="http://wwp.mirabilis.com/3731432"><A HREF="http://wwp.mirabilis.com/3731432</A">http://wwp.mirabilis.com/3731432</A</A>> Internet: <A HREF="http://www.public.asu.edu/~pbrun"><A HREF="http://www.public.asu.edu/~pbrun</A">http://www.public.asu.edu/~pbrun</A</A>> --------------------------------------------------------------- - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
