[opensuse] DST with dual boot

Hello, In good old unix tradition, I always set the HW clock to UTC and let zoneinfo do the rest. Now I need to install a dual-boot box (win-XP). Do I really need to fall back to the (IMHO) braindead method to set the HW clock to local time?
