Please can some one tell me how I can link up my Epsom D88 printer to my linux Operating System? Do I need a special driver? Rory
Go here: http://www.linuxprinting.org/

As for the special driver - I doubt it. 9.2 should come with the correct drivers. I've had very good luck setting people up with epson printers.
It is the CUPS configuriation that will get you. Look up lppasswrd on <insert search engine here> to set your CUPS admin account.

Same here Epson printers just work, and even the older ones have multiple emmulations which can be use in place of a native driver. On my Eoson Action Lazer 1500 I use HPIIISi and have no problems. CWSIV
