I prepared an 13.1 installation with GNOME on an USB stick. This installation boots fine on several different systems, network and display are all automatically detected and used. Just sound seems to be bound to a single system. Is there a way to let the system automatically figure out what the current sound hardware is? I see all modules are loaded, but no sound is available unless I use yast to reconfigure. Perhaps the way out is to do "rm -rf /home/*/.config/pulse" every time the system boots. I have not tried that, yet. Or is there a way to preserve settings based on the actual system, like /sys/class/dmi/id/product_uuid?
