Should be, I'm running 0.80, and that's my WMRootMenu. I haven't had any crashes with 0.80 either, so maybe I'm just lucky. :)
Hi, Concerning this, I decided to build from source on my running dual PIII, with ./configure --prefix=/usr/X11R6 --enable-kde --enable-gnome --enable-sound --enable-usermenu --enable-single-icon And to quote from the INSTALL notes : "If you installed the Window Maker package from SuSE, uninstall it before trying to compile wmaker or you might have problems" So, I uninstalled all the wmaker and dependencies before running, make make install ldconfig Of course, I installed system-wide and then as for my normal usage ran wmaker.inst for the config files in my home directory. It was a good thing that I back up all my working .GNUstep stuff first. Well, Wmaker 0.80 starts up, then BOMBS.... very unstable. No use here So, good people, I simply went back to the default wmaker 0.65 and all's fine as expected. Then, my question is : How did you get your 0.80 running with SuSE 7.3 ? Did you have to go from 0.65 to 0.70 to 0.80, gently letting go and repointing the un-needed libraries ? Any takers ? Happy SuSing -- Kemdi IN_SuSE_d Since 5.2 123792 of counter.li.org ICQ:112290572
