[opensuse] adding drivers for a wireless printer?

All, I just bought a Canon Pixma mx922 printer. It is working fine from windows. Canon is not showing any linux drivers for it. Looking at the HCL <https://en.opensuse.org/HCL:Printers> I don't see any Canon mx series printers. At least during the install time I can hook-up the USB cable, but to be useful I need to get it working via wireless. Am I whistling dixie. (ie. am I wasting my time?)
