I would like to know which options were set (Yes-No-Module) when people at S.u.S.E. compiled the kernel (2.0.33 - no SCSI) packaged with SuSE 5.1 distribution. I would like to compile an application that requires GTK 1.0. Unfortunately, SuSE 5.1 installs GTK 0.97 so I downloaded and compiled successfully GTK 1.0 but when I tried to remove my old GTK, I got an error saying that libgtk.so.1, libglib.so.1 and libgdk.so.1 are needed by gimp-0.99.15-4. If I force GTK 0.97 removal, and install GTK 1.0, would GIMP complain about the new libraries or not? Thanks for your help. Bye. -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
