in the prefs.js file for my Thunderbird profile, but still no joy. Anyone have any ideas/pointers on how to get this feature working again?
When asking questions such as these it pays to always mention which versions you are running as well as which version of openSUSE. Yeah, my bad, sorry.... I am running openSuSE 12.2 (x86_64), Thunderbird 24.0 and Firefox 24.0. KDE is Platform Version 4.8.5 (4.8.5) "release 2"
Having stated this, do you have both as the default applications in your System Settings? (assuming that you are using KDE, Gecko>System Settings>Default Applications) i am not sure what Gecko is, but looking at the "Configure Desktop" tool Default Applications my default email client is set to thunderbird %u and my default Web Browser is set to firefox.
Is a process named kmozillahelper running when you have Thunderbird running? Where is your Thunderbird installation coming from exactly? Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
