Is this kmail Tools->Search?
I tried kmail2 a while back and thought Tools->Search was working but heaps slower than kmail(1) from KDE3 (too slow to be usable).
I continue to use kmail(1) from the OpenSUSE 12.3 kdepim3 package, which seems almost perfect. I was about to test kmail2 from 4.11 in a VM, but given your other post about imap DOS, but it doesn't sound worth the hassle.
Since the word "kmail2"never appears anywhere (the name is deprecated), I can only assume it is kmail2. The funny thing is kmail works fine. Its the Akonadi back end goes berserk. The bug has been around for quite a while. It could be that the inability to search is due to the fact that Akonadi never successfully hands off the mail to nepomuk, so there is nothing there to search. -- _____________________________________ ---This space for rent--- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
