Issue#2: where / how do I change network settings?
For fixed IP here it is as it has been since before adoption of "predictable network interface names": #/etc/sysconfig/network/eth0 BOOTPROTO='static' STARTMODE='auto' IPADDR='###.###.###.###/24' I also have /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules (containing mac address for eth0), and /etc/udev/rules.d/80-net-setup-link.rules (empty) and I boot with net.ifnames=0 on cmdline. I have no installations with wan or more than one NIC. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." Proverbs 16:21 (New Living Translation) Team OS/2 ** Reg.
