Please clarify what you mean by "got this message," especially since you say the machine is "Linux (only)." Are you talking about a phishing attack of some sort? Viewing <http://www.updatew.org/> is ... humorous, to be sure. Apparently after "exhaustively" searching my system (for about 15 seconds), I was warned about three extreme threats to my physical, emotional and technological health. (Plus, I assume, my hair could fall out.)

Run what? If you click the "warning" window displayed after the "security scan", you see a "shopping cart" display listing your $19.95 purchase of life-saving software (using the European convention of using the comma for the decimal point). "Proceed[ing] to checkout" shows you a window in which you may enter your credit card number. Just your everyday phishing scam. A trap for those foolish enough to spring it.
on this Linux machine, nor especially on my Windows machine. (It would be interesting to see what it would make of SuSE, but I don't think I'm going to find out!)
