Without playing with Elven or other Dwarves :-) I have posted some days ago the same errors, see below. I hope it is not the name which is causing this - is there any non-Matt who sees the same errors ;-) ? I had been running out of time to look further for a solution, too many more serious issues like the nvidia crash when logging out from kde or Gnome... But if there is a guru to point in the right direction, that would be great! Thnks, Matt On Monday 31 December 2001 14:17, Matt wrote:
Hi,
Since a few days, when I run SuSEconfig I get the messages below: [...] Executing /sbin/conf.d/SuSEconfig.susehilf... Executing /sbin/conf.d/SuSEconfig.susewm... SuSEwm: ERROR: gnome: no "name" defined ! SuSEwm: ERROR: wmaker: no name defined ! SuSEwm: ERROR: wmaker: no name defined ! SuSEwm: ERROR: wmaker: no name defined ! Processing index files of all manpages... Finished.
I would be happy if anyone could tell me what 's wrong?
I'm running SuSE 7.2 prof. Updated to kde2.2.2, first with qt 2.3.2, but after an extremely slow konqueror etc. back to the original qt 2.3.0. and then update to qt 2.3.1 using the rpm from trolltec.
Thanks for any ideas, Matt

Elven fonts had been removed then these problem occured a short time after. Any ideas what could cause this and how to fix perhaps? Hunted high and low...
