I'm trying to run the latest KDE-Four-Live-i686-4.4.1 image as a LiveUSB device on my ACER TM-6291 notebook but after booting I get the error
message: 'couldn't find live image configuration' file' and on the next line 'reboot in 120 seconds'.
After rebooting it happens again. I made everything by the instructions on the webpage: http://en.opensuse.org/Live_USB_stick The donloaded image works well on a CD. Any advice? Thanks, Paul

If you want a live usb image, it's available at: http://en.opensuse.org/Factory#How_can_I_install.2Fupdate_it.3F
Also, that was a date for the 11.2 release candidate. If you're at kde 4.4.1, you're probably using 11.3 RCs.
I think he's actually using the KDE Four Live image I produced last week from http://home.kde.org/~kdelive/ and blogged about at http://www.kdedevelopers.org/node/4176, which contain "openSUSE 11.2 plus all updates, KDE 4.4.1, upstream branding, Nepomuk enabled and Strigi disabled" Paul, are you using the 32 bit or 64 bit image? I had no such problems with the 32 bit image.
