As much as I've always said that oss is for people who are too lame to configure sound with the kernel drivers and isapnp (or who legitimately have a card that the kernel drivers don't support and oss does), I tried oss and it displayed the same behaviour. THEN I rm -rf'ed W.D.McKinney wrote:
