I'm using Cyrus IMAP and have been using KDE for the last couple of years as my mail client, but today it started acting funny. I had a set of filters to move emails around to different folders and these have been working fine (although I have noticed that after 20 hours or so of use the filters sometimes stop working). Today however, I had about 15 new emails turn up and it removed them all from the inbox (took about 5 seconds per email to remove them), then plonked them all back in the inbox and started over again! I removed all of the filters (except the SpamAssassin ones), but it still does it! As an interim measure, I have switched over to Evolution, which is currently working normally. This was with the latest Kontact package from the KDE build-service (1.9.4). Has anybody else seen this? Is there a quick fix? I must say, also, that Evolution has improved beyond all recognition over the last couple of builds! When I tried it back in the 9.n days and again, briefly, when I switched to 10.0, it felt clunky and "child-like" in its interface. The new version is one heck of an improvement and my initial impressions are good. - David Wright "I got to go figure," the tenant said. "We all got to figure. There's some way to stop this.
