Will Firefox 4 be available in the SLEx Mozilla repo?
Short answer: Don't know. Long answer: There are different reasons why it's not straightforward to build Firefox 4 on 11.1/SLE11 (not speaking about even earlier versions here). For example the reason why it's currently failing there is because gcc on 11.1/SLE11 has a (packaging?) bug and is not shipping a mandatory header file used by Firefox builds. (https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=527433) Another thing is that a newer yasm is needed (but that's already solved by having it in the repo). If someone provides a fixed compatible gcc package for 11.1 I'm happy to build Firefox using that one without giving any guarantees that it does not fail later on other outdated prerequirements (not very likely though). What I'm not gonna do is to hack in ugly workarounds into Firefox to build.
