Sorry for the basic question: Are the folders subscribed to from Thunderbird. Depending on the IMAP server and client combination you might need to do that I think.
How do you subscribe to a folder? I have never done that. I use imap servers on my ISP, on gmail, on a local, old computer, using wu-imap... All the folders appeared in thunderbird, on any computer. I have no idea how to subscribe to a folder. Not with Pine, not with thunderbird. Look, I've just started (first time) Evolution on the laptop, connecting to dovecot on the server. It sees all folders. Let me see, this is new to me... [...] Wow. There is a "subscribe" contextual menu on the main folder! :-O I confess that it is the first time I see this...
