Dear All Yesterday I upgraded my SuSE 6.4 Compaq notebook to XFCE 3.5 from the version that is supplied with the SuSE distribution. After doing the upgrade I did what I was told to do and ran "xfce_upgrade" from the command line. The old file was saved to I know not where. It flashed across the screen too quickly. I used xfce-3.5.0-1.i386.rpm to upgrade and YaST installed it without problems. I now find when I start X-Windows that I can only start CTWM which is the emergency WM under SuSE 6.4. I've run YaST a few times and it shows that XFCE is the default WM. How do I get out of this ? I haven't hacked WM configuration files before and I've no idea what to do.
