In gkrellm, I have:
sdb sda sdd sde sdf sdc sdg
...
Aparently they are in creation order. I would like to have them in a more senssible order (sda, sdb, sdc...). Someone knows a trick?
Try the (quick and dirty) "touch trick" e.g. for sda
touch -c --date=00:01:00 /dev/sda for i in {1..9}; do test -e /dev/sda$i || break touch -c --date=00:01:0$i /dev/sda$i done
repeat for sdb ... sdg with: sdb = 00:02:00 ... sdg = 00:07:00 restart gkrellm, if it works, build yourself a start script for gkrellm that contains the code from above as needed and starts gkrellm afterwards wich a 'exec' As said, quick and dirty. - Yamaban -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
