Okay,
I think we found the culprit. The dhcpd.leases file had 113 entries, of that one IP was duplicated 47 times (with a number of different IPs) and there were others duplicated a lesser number of times. So I backed up the leases file and stopped the server and pulled-out the big guns...
:>dhcpd.leases
(sometimes, you just gotta start fresh -- I'll let you know how it goes :)
David, I also had some issue like that, maybe in the last 5-6 weeks - I also had to fiddle with dhcpd.leases which I've never had to before, ever. My dhcpd is quite old, 4.1 I think - in mid-March, I discussed it with someone off-line, he said there was an issue with the way the client-id is being generated. I have not looked into any further. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (10.1°C) http://www.hostsuisse.com/ - virtual servers, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
