You can edit the menu.lst in SUSE with this
###Don't change this comment - YaST2 identifier: Original name: Ubuntu### title Ubuntu root (hd0,6) kernel /vmlinuz root=/dev/sda7 ro quiet splash initrd /initrd.img
You need to edit root (hd0,6) to match your actual Ubuntu location and the same for /dev/sda7
Hi Carl, I don't think that will work. Both OpenSuse 12.2 and Ubuntu 10.04 work with Grub2. There you don't have menu.lst any more. I could handle the old grub. Now it's different though.
