Actually I found out that if I select X-CD-Roast from the application menu thsn something starts .. I can see X-CD-Roast icon "X" flickering on the screen for a few seconds ... which should preceed the selected application "X-CD-Roast" to start ... unluckily after a few seconds the icon disappears and nothing starts at all ... HOW COME ? I verified that /usr/bin/cdrecord is installed . Maura On Sun, 31 Aug 2003, Ben Rosenberg wrote:

Sorry but I've never heard of "k3b" ... Is it used to burn CDs ?
K3B is the KDE 3 CD burning software. It's 10x better then X CD roast. Here's the URL since google appears to be down.
It comes on the SuSE CD's and works quite well. Give the website a read and then install it if you wish.
