HI All; I plan on getting a sound card just to play with. I don't want to put any real money into it. Sooooo, looking at the prices I find one listed as "SB16 compatible PNP" for 25 DM (ca 15$). ORRRR next in price are "Creative SB 16 ISA", "Creative SB 64 PCI", "TerraTec 128i", or "Diamond Sonicimpact S90" all at 49 DM each (ca 30$). I don't want to spend anymore than that on a card. Not knowing a durn thing about them, will one of them work with Linux? Also if I get the more costly card which should I get? My system is a 486/33 all EIDE (no SCSI at all) it was built in 1992.
