That's not an answer at all. It's exactly what I would expect to read from someone who calls themself an MVP over in the M$ newsgroups. Your top-posting doesn't allay my doubts anymore either.

I know this is a simple thing, but have you right-clicked on the panel and looked at the 'add applet' menu? You may have accidentally removed them from the panel. And why won't 7.0 install on your pentium machine? What kinds of problems/errors are you having/getting? John
