I mean think about it - seriously! Contracting toilet paper manufacturers and distributors to ink a deal to have the worlds most successful and notorious software company print their Logo and other assorted marketing goodies on "toilet paper". [...]
serious thought/realization: once these rolls hit the shelves in supply houses(*), some enterprising young man is going to quietly swipe them and start selling them on e-bay where he'll make a mint from every Linux user on the planet -- admit it: once you see a TP roll of four-color interlocking puzzle pieces, you *know* you're going to want one for the laughs you'll know you'll get around the office or at the next user group meeting... heck, I'll probably order a dozen rolls to have as "door prizes" come next april... ;) Tom (*) I doubt these will be on regular store shelves since the article implies this will be targeted towards "events", so only industrial/supply type places will carry this. Then again, if they've gone this far with their marketing scheme, perhaps they'll show up at the corner market after all... [and if not, in 3-6 months when the whole deal flops, they'll be at "big-lots"] - -- Yet another Blog: http://osnut.homelinux.net -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2-rc1-SuSE (GNU/Linux) Comment: http://osnut.homelinux.net/TomEmerson.asc iD8DBQE+ue5dV/YHUqq2SwsRAlilAJ0ZwWVTN3gEfjdqhiIFHl0VN1O3fQCdHb9x Q+hR064dL7uq5tfgy9RBKko= =R1Jg -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
