I had a Gigabyte motherboard on Inter architecture (Pentium IV 3.2 Ghz Extreme);the motherboard is the GA-8KNXP Rev 2.0,with Intel LAN card onboard,and AC 97 sound.It works great and i hadn't any compatibility isssue.
