Well,
I've been using Sun's JDK 1.3 for about 2 weeks now. I didn't put it to any rigorous testing but it seems to work fine. I was just a bit worried since I had read in several places (including SUN's site) that SUsE was not supported with the SDK version 1.3.
I'm looking to install an IDE now. I tried to install Fortee4Java CE 1.0.2. It installed OK but can't get it to start. It finds JAVA_PATH fine but says it can't find the projects folder. I'd like to get this going or if there's a better IDE out there, I'm open to suggestion.
Thanks
Have you given VisualAge for Java 3.0 a look-see? -- Scientific theories, according to Sir Karl Popper, can be "falsified," or proven wrong, by experiment. Unscientific theories -Marxist dialectical history and Freudian psychology were Popper's favorites- are formed in such a way that they cannot be falsified by data.
