Has anyone else had any trouble using fetchmail to grab messages from a QPOP 2.53 mail server? I was warned by fetchmailconf to expect socket errors with QPOP 2.53 but of course I blithely pushed along. I cannot find any rhyme or reason for the socket errors. The transfer times out after about 20 messages or so. This is a real problem since I am an avid mailing list reader. Is there any work-around? MS Outlook doesn't have any trouble :-< But please don't suggest that as a solution.
